Where does the time go?

Oh wow! I can't believe how long it's been since I updated my blog! I meant to get back to it last week, but ended up working late Thursday because we were going to close Friday for the snow storm. The weekend just flew by (I still haven't caught up on my three projects), and here it is already the weekend after!

I am so sorry, loyal readers. Once things settle down a bit I will be able to give blogging the attention it deserves!

So on to today's subject: twitter! Does this new microblogging trend prove that the world has gone insane? (Answer: yes!)

Mea culpa: I'd been meaning to start this blog forever! I've just been so caught in everything these days that I'm only getting around to it now.

Anywhoodles, welcome to the blog that I will intend to update on a regular basis. I hope that I don't overestimate my own interest in this project, and somehow fail to keep up with my goal of 2-4 posts per week.

Today's theme: who says blogging is dead? At least one research group does!

A recent study from Pew Internet & American Life Project indicates that blogging has decreased by almost half among those ages 12-29 in the past three years. This is offset by a modest increase of 4% among those 30 and older. Fascinating, isn't it? Wonder why such a decrease in interest.
